✍️ Openroom Vision
We are working towards a vision of a transparent and connected rental ecosystem.

Bad Behaviour
People need to be held accountable for their actions in the cases of bad behaviour.
- Non-Payment of Rent
- Damages
- Bad Faith Evictions

Good Behaviour
People should be rewarded for great behaviour.
- On-time Rent Payments
- Caring for Rental Property
- Respecting Rental Agreement
✅ How this rewards program benefits you as the landlord/owner
- Retain responsible renters by rewarding them for meeting their rental payment obligations
- Attract excellent renters to your vacant units - a renter willing to tether their rental payments to credit history is more likely to pay their rent on time
- Have more tools to negotiate in non-payment of rent scenarios with your renters
- Hold renters accountable even before getting a court order from your residential tenancy board
👋 We’re inviting you to join us to reward your residents for being part of your vibrant rental housing community.
🏷 #1: Retailer Discounts
Residents get to access a registry of perks and discounts from retailers in their geographical location and nationally across Canada that Openroom partners with.
This helps them save in the places they may shop at.

This list is being curated as we speak. More to come.
📈 #2: Credit Building
Residents get to increase their credit score by making rent payments count as a line item on their Equifax consumer report.
This helps renters prepare for their next rental application and/or a future mortgage application.
